If Im just browsing the internet I generally get about 5-10 minutes of connectivity time before the adapter drops the signal, if Im downloading or playing a game, this turns into 2-5 minutes or less before the signal drops. Ghz doesnt seem to be affected as bad, but still has similar issues. Ive tried diagnósing my DHCP sétup, set the adaptér with a státic IP, all tó no avail. I have a Asus RT-AC68U router that has had 0 issues with any other device using both 2.4 and 5Ghz bands. I have án Asus UX301LAA Ultrabook with wireless AC and it has 0 issues on the wireless, sitting directly next to the desktop for troubleshooting purposes. Qualcomm Qca61X4A 802.11Ac Wireless Adapter Driver Update AsIve tried the driver update as some Impact threads have shared, but with little to no affect. Main reason I bought the board was the OC capabilities and wireless, but Im within my return window so if the wireless is a dud, Ill return for something else. Qualcomm Qca61X4A 802.11Ac Wireless Adapter Drivers From TheIll try my roommates PC to get the drivers from the disc though. It has béen 8 days since I filed a support ticket and no response from Asus. Any luck j0n I really like this motherboard besides this major issue, but if I cant fix it soon I will switch to MSI. I have á AVM FRITZBox 7490 and i have tried all combinationssettings to detect the problems. It seems thé QCA61x4A - WLAN - Chip has more than one hardwaredriver revisions: Z270E: PCIVEN168CDEV003ESUBSYS86CD1043 - until 12.0.0.278 For the other: Other driver versions until 12.0.0.295 Asus: Why has Asus the wrong driver for the Z270E on the Support - Page or what is wrong with Qualcomm. The Z270I drivers contain the same installation whitelist, but itll be better to use device manager for installation via the inf method so you do not get a bloated install.
